Until this morning, I hadn't used my iBook, surfed the web, or accessed my e-mail for 5 days. Apart from my summer vacation last year this is probably the longest period off the 'net for a long time.
Mostly, it's due to the excellent weather coinciding with 3 days off work during the Easter break. I spent much of the time in the garden - or the house - doing chores that have been piling up over the months. I really enjoyed the mini-vacation and apart from slight twinges of guilt from not updating DJ in all that time, I feel much better for the break from my normal routine.
But never fear I am now back in full swing! Alas, I had a backlog of over 850 e-mails when I logged in this morning. Many of these are from the mailing lists I subscribe to. Too many were spam - how much Viagra do they spammers think I need ;-)!?. About 5% of the 850 messages are important enough to merit attention and I'll be catching up with those in the course of the next few days.
Lots happened on the past week or so. Whether I bore you with the details is, as yet, undecided.
And, of course, loads of things pending.
Cheers,
Duncan
