yG, U4 computer equipment was blamed for the second failure in a week of the UK's air traffic control system. Thousand of passengers suffered major disruption to their travel plans. Bobby Charlton - one of the 1966 English team that won the World Cup - was one of those affected. He couldn't fly out to Belgium in time to attend the first round draw between England and Germany.

i don't recall england winning the world cup in 1996...
