I was in CS96 but left after second year since my grades were terrible! Luckily it was during the 'dot-com' peak so I got some work doing web development (ASP/SQL) for a few years. It didn't feel like a proper career though, so I'm back at Strathclyde now, doing a BSc in Physics and really enjoying it. I've got Programming Foundations as one of my electives for an easy 2 credits!

It's a shame there's not any joint Physics/Computing degrees since I still quite like coding.

btw, when I tried to reply to this thread using the http://duncan.smeed.org/guestbook it kept kicking me back the logon page, yet when I opened the reply screen for another thread and replaced the ID in the URL with 76, it worked. Seems like some odd cookie/session problem. Happened in both Safari and IE.
