Good points, and I'll stop hogging Duncan's discussion group with Conversant debates. When I have time to outline what I mean by a permission level between admin and member I'll post it at the support site. (For example, I'd like to give people permission to edit posts and bind URLs without letting them touch templates or the rest of the admin system.)
