I think we could set up a pilot project in the summer term for volunteers from the first and second years at Dunbar Grammar school.

Under the title of 'Extreme Learning' they would be asked to undertake a project of their own choice which has a set of fairly flexible parameters.

Using weblogging software such as we recently discussed they could attempt their project with a few seminars thrown in for good measure. If we could link projects to virtual mentors then things could really take off.
