The downloads I've tried continually fail to produce a mountable installation image. According to comments in the VersionTracker.com: More Info: Eudora forum, this is a knwon problem. I'm now attempting to get a clean download from http://www.eudora.com/download/eudora/mac/5.1/Betas/5.1b21/Eudora51b21.hqx - so far so good.
