I would agree with you Brian. Having delved into the details of what CityDesk does, I don't see it as a great advance on other products.

Not being a DreamWeaver user I can't comment. But the price for a multi-user set-up requiring, as it does, $349 per seat will limit it's user base. But perhaps it's a good deal in comparison to some other CMSes out there.

IMHO, Conversant still kicks ass.
