Ah! Finally sussed out what was wrong. The culprit is the 'Modified By' drop-down menu which I had set to duncan@smeed.org as seen in jotter_rss_query_defaults.gif 626x1212 pixels. The setting that works is to use [ALL] which is sort of counter-intuitive. In this case I think [ALL] means [ANY]. I was assuming that the 'Posted By' and 'Modified By' was an OR but in fact it was an AND so my query was looking for post posted and modified by me in the past day. A simple mistake but sometimes you overlook the obvious. Sigh!

So, I better go and modify the RE: jotter.rss goes live message to alert people to the problem.
