Becoming conversant with CSS: I now realise that Conversant could be a superb test platform for experimenting with CSS. I've put off learning much about CSS until now because of the awkwardness of the Edit/FTP/Test cycle using traditional static site generation tools.

Why? - because Conversant is a highly adaptable content management system (CMS) that has good hooks for incorporating CSS into dynamically generated pages.
